Dileep's fourth bail plea to receive court judgement on 18 September; remand period extended

This is the fourth time that Dileep has applied for bail in this case. Previously, his pleas were rejected on the grounds that he could influence witnesses and tamper with evidence.

Dileep's fourth bail plea to receive court judgement on 18 September; remand period extended

The court on 16 September, set aside Malayalam actor Dileep’s case for final judgement on the bail plea , for 18 September. The actor had been arrested for alleged involvement in the conspiracy behind the kidnapping of an actress.

Image from Twitter.[/caption] The proceedings on 16 September were out of bounds for all as the the Angamaly Judicial first class magistrate extending the remand period of the actor till 28 September, with Dileep appearing through video conferencing from the Aluva sub-jail near here. This is the fourth bail plea of Dileep, who was arrested on 10 July for his involvement in the conspiracy that led to the abduction and molestation of the actress in February and the second before the magistrate’s court here. He had moved the Kerala High Court twice too, but failed to get any relief. Police had arrested the prime accused Pulsar Suni and his accomplices a week after the incident. However, a conspiracy angle cropped up much later that led to Dileep’s arrest. Firstpost had earlier reported  that Kavya Madhavan, wife of Dileep, one of the accused in the case of the abduction and assault of a popular Malayalam actress, had also moved the Kerala High Court to seek anticipatory bail on 16 September.
