Did Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan convert into Islam in Mecca? The answer is no. Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan have fallen prey to Artificial Intelligence and there’s absolutely no truth to the viral pictures of the couple.

Back in 2005, Gauri Khan and Sussanne Khan graced the couch of Karan Johar’s show Koffee With Karan and spoke about Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. Gauri opened up on the Pathaan actor’s religion and said, “There is a balance. I respect Shah Rukh’s religion but that doesn’t mean that I would convert and become a Muslim. I don’t believe in that. I think everybody is an individual and follows their religion. But, obviously there should be no disrespect. Like Shah Rukh would not disrespect my religion as well.”

Aryan [Khan] is so into  Shah Rukh  , that he would follow his religion I feel. He will always say, ‘I am a Muslim.’ And when he tells this to my mother, she gets, ‘What do you mean?’ She’s dealing with it and it is true.”

Shah Rukh Khan  , in his journey of 33 years and counting, has made a lot of friends in the industry and one of them is Chunky Panday. Talking to Time Out with Ankit in a recent interview, Panday shared some anecdotes about SRK.

He revealed, “I think one of his first friends in Bombay when he arrived was my younger brother Chikki. They’re still the best of friends. So, at that time, they (Shah Rukh and Gauri) were renting a place and they used to come to meet my brother, sab baith ke video cassettes dekhte the (the would sit together and watch movies on video cassettes). So he and Gauri were in my house quite often.”
