The talented and versatile actress of the ’90s Pooja Bhatt, who delivered memorable films like Sadak, Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin, Border, Zakhm and others, showed her never-before-seen side in the controversial reality show Bigg Boss OTT 2. In a recent interview, the actor-filmmaker opened up about her bond with sister Alia Bhatt, brother-in-law Ranbir Kapoor and niece Raha Kapoor.
Talking to Siddharth Kannan, the actress said Bigg Boss brought her and Alia closest to each other. “Alia called me the day I came out of ‘Bigg Boss’ and told me ‘Pooja, I have felt the closest to you during ‘Bigg Boss’ because there has been not a single day when I did not watch it.’ She used to watch the show 24/7,” said Pooja. She added, “‘Bigg Boss’ has brought us closer. I think I have great admiration for her. She is a very focused woman, she is a mother and she is a wonderful mother.” Praising Alia and her daughter Raha, Pooja said that Bhatt family has a star every 20 years. “There was Pooja Bhatt, now there is Alia Bhatt and 20 years later it will be Raha,” said the _Chup_ actress. Talking about Ranbir, she called him a natural person. “Vo life mein hi aisa hai, effortless insaan hai vo (He is an effortless person in real life too).” In the same interview, Pooja also spoke the controversial photoshoot with her father for a magazine in 1990 and said, “I see it very simple, and I think that unfortunately jo hota hai (what happens is), a frozen moment can be represented and misrepresented in anyway. Aur mujhe yaad hai Shah Rukh ne mujhe yeh kaha tha when you have daughters, jab hi aapke bacche chote hai (I remember Shah Rukh had told me that when you have daughters and when your child is small), how often a child just says, ‘Mummy papa give me a kiss’. And they go this way. Main ab bhi is umar mein bhi wahi 10 pound ki bacchi hoon for my father. Vo jindagi bher wahi rahege for me (At this age also I am still a 10 pound child for my father. He will always remain that way for me).”
