Amidst unforgettable fan frenzy, the highly anticipated trailer of multi-starrer Dhurandhar was launched at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai today.
Based on true-life events and tipped as the biggest and boldest release to close out 2025, the film is a pulse-pounding look into the high-stakes world of covert operatives, where every decision is a matter of life and death, and the battle for the nation is fought in the shadows.
Filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh of Kahaani, Jhankaar Beats, and Badla fame also praised the trailer on X and said- “that dhurandhar trailer is toooo good. all my favorite actors in one film. and that song at the end of the trailer? ekdum kickum assum!”
Lack of originality?
A user then replied to Gosh saying- “That song at the end of #Dhurandhar is not original but a version of Manna Dey’s song word by word… in terms of music, Bollywood has zero originality to offer.”
And the filmmaker clarified- “no one claimed its original. infact if anything… its good that they got a song from barsaat ki raat out there."
