Ajay Devgn and Arbaaz Khan, both of whom produce and act in films, are uniting for the first time for a project. However, they are not teaming up to act or produce. According to Mumbai Mirror, the two are lending their voices to the Hindi version of Telugu crime thriller, Dhruva. Charan plays a righteous IPS officer, while Singh plays his lady-love. The film also has Arvind Swami, portraying the character of a scientist, who is the antagonist. Devgn will dub for Charan’s character whereas Khan will bring Swami alive with his voice in the Hindi version. The Telegu film is actually a remake of Thani Oruva, a Tamil film which had Nayanthara and Jayam Ravi in main roles. Devgn told Mirror, that when he was approached to dub for the lead actor’s part, he readily agreed, because it is a “first of its kind initiative” by the channel. The journey of bringing the character of Dhruva on screen and lending his voice to it has been as exciting for him, as any of his previous films. The Hindi version of Dhruva will premiere on television on Sunday.
