Deepika Padukone and her husband Ranveer Singh are all set to welcome their first baby this year in September. Weeks after the duo shared the update with their fans through an Instagram post, the actress shared a cryptic note about success. It talks about striking a balance between success and burning out efforts.
On Wednesday, the mom-to-be actress shared a quote on her Instagram handle. It read, “Look around where you are; see what you can do to change the definition of success. So women coming after you won’t feel like they have to choose between success and burnout.”
Interestingly, Deepika had shared an adorable poster earlier in February to break the news about her pregnancy. The poster, adorned with children’s clothes, toys, and balloons to create an attractive border, had “September 2024” written on it. Notably, Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot five years back in the presence of close friends and family.
The pregnancy announcement by Deepika came weeks after she shared with Vogue Singapore that she wants to have a baby with Ranveer. The actress had said, “Absolutely. Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we will start our own family.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika Padukone’s last appearance was in Fighter alongside Hrithik Roshan. Produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures, the film’s plot is set against the backdrop of the unfortunate Pulwama attack followed by the Balakot air strike. It further delved into the life of an Indian Air Force pilot and his journey to protect his nation and loved ones.
Next, Deepika will be seen in several interesting projects. One of her most anticipated projects is Kalki 2989 AD in which she will be essaying the female lead opposite Prabhas. The film will also feature acting stalwarts including Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in a key role. It is scheduled to hit the theatres in May this year. Besides, Deepika will also be a part of the Hindi remake of The Intern with Amitabh Bachchan.
