Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter and Abhishek Bachchan’s niece Navya Naveli Nanda has taken admission in one of India’s most famous business schools, the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA), in the Blended Postgraduate Programme (BPGP).
To celebrate her achievement, she took to Instagram and wrote, “Dreams do come true!!!!!!” The next two years… with the best people and faculty! Blended Postgraduate Programme (BPGP) Class of 2026."
However, many social media users said that they were surprised that a star kid got through a highly selective Indian institute for higher studies with some calling BPGP not a flagship programme and not a real MBA with some even asking whether Nanda had gotten through on NRI or management quota
However, an IIM Ahmedabad professor named Promila Agarwal set the record straight as she tweeted, “Don’t insult IIMA by assuming that we have any quota for any program, cut off & interview for this one,” before tweeting, “She got solid CV btw*. U don’t necessarily need CAT. Link**. Irrespective, hats off to everyone for being courageous enough to sign up for rigorous program. PS: Just like other students, looking forward to her posts cribbing abt hard life at IIMA”
