David Tennant's character of Purple Man was killed by Jessica Jones in season 1 but pictures from the set suggest that he is all set to strike back.

Los Angeles: David Tennant is coming back to Marvel's second season of Jessica Jones on Netflix in the role of mind-controlling villain Kilgrave.

Despite being the Big Bad of the first season, Kilgrave became quite the fan favourite character, even adding slithers of humour to his performance on varying occasions.

His comeback details are still being kept under wraps, reported Screen Rant. There is no official date confirmed for Jessica Jones Season 2, but the character returns on 18 August when The Defenders hits Netflix.
