Kolkata: Critically acclaimed filmmaker Aparna Sen's latest directorial venture Sonata, adapted from the eponymous play by award-winning playwright Mahesh Elkunchwar, is slated for a mid-April release.

A HK studio film, it is both written and helmed by Aparna Sen.
