Confirmed! Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda engaged, to tie the knot in February 2026

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are finally engaged after being rumoured to be dating for several years. While the rumours of their engagement started circulating yesterday on social media, The Family Star actor’s team confirmed the news of his engagement to Hindustan Times on Saturday morning.

As per NDTV, the duo got engaged in an intimate ceremony on Friday (October 3) with family members and close friends in attendance. While the couple has announced about their engagement on social media, it is said that the duo will tie the knot in February 2026.

Last year, When VD was asked about his relationship, he told BT, “I will talk about it when I am ready, when I think that the world needs to know, and I want to share it with everyone. There needs to be a reason, a purpose and a time for it. So, on such a day, I will happily share it with the world in my way.”

“When you’re a public figure, it’s part of the job. There’s a lot of curiosity, but I don’t feel any pressure. I read it as news. Only once I felt the need to respond (hinting at the time when he posted an Instagram story reacting to a report about his wedding), but otherwise, it’s alright,” he added.

For the unversed, Rashmika and Vijay Deverakonda worked together in Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade.

The actress will be next seen Thamma, which is part of Maddock Horror Comedy Universe. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar of Munjya fame, the movie also features Ayushmann Khurrana, Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in prominent roles. It is said to hit the screens on 21st October during the festive season of Diwali.
