Since Arjun Kapoor, Rakul Preet and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Mere Husband Ki Biwi is arriving tomorrow, it would be interesting to see how Chhaava performs in its second weekend. However, looking at the current scenario, it seems that the Laxman Utekar directorial would be the first choice for the cinegoers.
Talking about Chhaava , the film is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It is adapted from Shivaji Sawant’s book of the same name. Directed by Laxman Utekar of Luka Chuppi and Mimi fame, the biographical war period drama also features Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Diana Penty, Ashutosh Rana, Vineet Kumar Singh, Divya Dutta, Kiran Karmarkar, Sarang Sathaye, Suvrat Joshi, Ankit Anil Sharma, Shubhankar Ekbote, Shivraj Walvekar, Akshay Anand Kohli, Rakesh Theraja and Neil Bhoopalam among others. It marks the second collaboration between Laxman, Vicky and producer Dinesh Vijan after Zara Hatke Zara Bachke.
The music of the film is composed by AR Rahman while the camera is cranked by Saurabh Goswami. The impeccable dialogues of Chhaava are written by Rishi Virmani.
