Linkin Park filmed an episode of Carpool Karaoke with actor Ken Jeong a week before the death of the band's lead singer and founder Chester Bennington.
The 24-minute episode has now been made available to watch. Linkin Park published the episode on their Facebook page saying that Bennington's family had given them their blessings to go ahead to share the un-aired episode with the world.
The episode opens with a written tribute to Bennington. Then Jeong jokes about wanting to join the band. Bennington is seen driving the car while Mike Shinoda and Joe Hahn are in the back seat.
As the episodes rolls along Ken along with the three band mates sing renditions of various Linkin Park songs like 'Numb', 'In the End' and 'Talking to Myself'. They all also croon to Outkast's song 'Hey Ya' and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers song 'Under the Bridge'.
The four of them get off the car on a few occasions as they dance (with Ken leading the jig) and eventually the band goes relocates into a party bus where they do some more karaoke, with mics et al.
The running joke throughout the entire episode is Ken insisting the band be renamed Linken Park. There is also a screaming game that the band mates indulge in. A vibrant and hilarious episode to watch, it reads as the perfect tribute to the deceased Bennington.
