Brazilian weight-loss influencer Mila De Jesus passes away at 35 after suspected heart attack

In a shocking turn of events, Brazilian weight loss influencer Mila De Jesus passed away suddenly at the age of 35 due to a possible case of a heart attack. On Monday, the Brazilian-born influencer’s daughter Anna Clara confirmed the news by sharing a message on her mother’s Instagram page. Along with a black-and-white photo of De Jesus, the post read, “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mila de Jesus this Friday. In this moment of pain, respect her family and friends and we will express our respect to Mila who will miss her a lot.” Clara further wrote in the caption, “We are very sad to hear of the passing of our beautiful mother. We appreciate all the prayers and condolences. Continue to pray for us Thank you.”

Notably, De Jesus’s sudden death has led to a wave of shock in the fitness and weight loss world as the fitness community mourns her demise. While the 35-year-old influencer died on Friday, 12 January due to a heart attack, the cause behind the same remains unknown. The content creator leaves behind four children from her previous and her husband George Kowszik, with whom she got married in September last year. As soon as the news came out, fans also took to the comment section and expressed their shock, sending condolences to her loved ones. A user wrote, “Still can’t believe it. May God comfort the hearts of the whole family,” while another wrote, “My condolences to all friends and family! Too sad.” About Mila De Jesus Born in Brazil and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, De Jesus gained prominence online after she went through a gastric bypass surgery in October 2017 and shared her weight loss journey with her Instagram followers. In her last health update in November last year, she shared pictures of her before and after progress.

Before that, she also announced suffering from psoriasis, a skin disease since July. In an Instagram post, she wrote about dealing with the situation for three months with 80 per cent of her body being affected.
