Border 2, the patriotic war drama starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty and Diljit Dosanjh, continued its box office journey into its sixth day, showing an expected weekday decline in collections while maintaining strong overall totals. The film is now eyeing a Rs. 300 crore worldwide milestone, and Rs 250 crore mark domestically after its solid performance over the extended Republic Day weekend.

Border 2 Day 6 numbers dip

According to early estimates from industry trackers, Border 2 experienced a noticeable drop in collections on Day 6 (Wednesday) compared with its performance over the Republic Day weekend. The film collected Rs. 13 crore on Day 6, which is it’s lowest collection so far. Yet, it managed to collect in double digits, which proves that it still continues to be a favourite among movie goers.

Border 2 eyes Rs. 250 crore India collection

Despite the mid-week slowdown, Border 2’s total collections across India and overseas have steadily climbed. By the end of Day 5, the film’s cumulative figures were reported at around Rs. 270 crore worldwide, with strong innings from the Republic Day window and solid theatrical traction in key markets. In India, the total collection stands at Rs. 213.83 crore nett. The gross collection stands at Rs 255.10 crore, according to Sacnilk.

If Border 2 maintains the same momentum , and continues to perform despite the release of Mardaani 2 on January 30, then it will easily surpass the Rs 300 crore mark domestically by its second weekend.

Crossing the Rs. 300 crore worldwide mark would further bolster the film’s commercial standing and underscore its appeal beyond the initial patriotic burst, while also offering comparison points with other big-screen performances in early 2026.
