Zero will reportedly feature Katrina Kaif opposite Abhay Deol, not Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero is one of the most awaited films of 2018 and with each passing month, there is a new twist, a new story around the film. Fresh reports claim it is not going to be another Jab Tak Hai Jaan equation between SRK and his two leading ladies Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. This time, Katrina will be found romancing Abhay Deol on the big screen. The two had earlier shared the screen space in Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. However, in that film, Katrina played Hrithik Roshan’s love interest. India TV reports the makers have kept the news of Deol being in the film a hush-hush affair. While Katrina plays an actress in the film, there are no details available about Abhay’s character. Katrina recently shared a picture from the sets of Zero where she was in a bridal attire.

While Katrina is also in news for her upcoming film  Thugs of Hindostan , Abhay was last seen in Happy Bhaag Jayegi. Abhay Deol will soon be seen in a black comedy where he is playing a land mafia guy. In the film titled  Nanu Ki Jaanu , he is cast opposite actress Patralekha. Zero is slated to release this Christmas on 21 December.
