Watch: Vaani Kapoor dances up a storm in 'Main Yaar Mana Ni' remix for YRF film

After pulling off  ‘Nashe Si Chad Gayi’, the most viewed Bollywood song ever on YouTube, Vaani Kapoor is in the news for another dance video — Yashita Sharma's remixed version of 'Main Yaar Mana Ni'. The song's original, from YRF's cult movie Daag, featured Sharmila Tagore.

Vaani looks chic in white shorts, teamed with a crop top and sneakers, and she pulls off some groovy-looking contemporary dance moves in the video. The song has been recreated for YRF's next big project — the as-yet untitled film starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. The movie is reportedly slated for a 25 January 2019 release.

Sources said that Vaani rehearsed for several hours over 10 days to do justice to the video and the hard work is quite evident. Take a look:

On being asked about the experience of working on the dance number, Vaani said, “'Ni Main Yaar Manana Ni' is a cult classic and also one of my favourite songs from a Yash Chopra movie. The song is about never giving up on one’s love and I connected instantly with it when I first heard it. I have always followed my heart, my dreams and thankfully, God has been kind. It’s a special song for me and I hope everyone loves my tribute to the original.”
