Tiger Shroff plans to buy back his old family home, 14 years after it was sold
Tiger Shroff's parents sold off the house after the failure of their maiden home production Boom, back in 2003.

Two weeks ago, when Jackie and Tiger Shroff appeared on Koffee with Karan Season 5, a pre-recorded message of Ayesha Shroff, Tiger's mother, saw her weeping while recalling the time when Jackie had to sell their house to fund her debut production, Kaizad Gustad's 2003 film Boom.
After Boom bombed at the box office, the Shroffs thought they lost their family home forever. Tiger and his sister Krishna grew up in that house and thus, harboured a deep emotional bond with the place. Thus, after his debut film, Sajid Nadiadwala's action entertainer, Heropanti turned into a blockbuster, Tiger vowed to his mother to reclaim their house.
DNA reports that Tiger gifted his first pay cheque to his parents and Ayesha framed it and adorned it on a wall in their new place on Carter Road. Now, though Tiger is in a position to buy their old residence at Mount Mary Road back, his mother believes that she does not need that place anymore.

The same report quotes her as saying, "All the families who lived in that building at the time, have moved out. Our attachment to the house was with them and the kids grew up with their gang of friends. Tiger and Kishu (Krishna) would have classes together with the other kids. Now most are grown up, married and settled all over the world.”
She adds that Jackie has suggested Tiger to buy their old residence and convert it into his work space. He also encourages Tiger to buy a bigger car in order to accommodate his entourage. But Tiger insists on sticking to his humble Chevrolet car.
The humility probably comes from Jackie's genes as he also had a humble start. He was a slum dweller but worked his way around before his big debut in Subhash Ghai's 1983 blockbuster Hero.
