Rekha raps, Sonakshi Sinha sings for special Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se track also featuring Salman Khan
Besides Rekha's rap and Sonakshi's singing, the special track will also have iconic dialogues mouthed by Dharmendra, Shatrughan Sinha and Salman Khan.
A slew of stars, Sonakshi Sinha, Shatrughan Sinha, Rekha and Salman Khan, recently shot for a special song which will be featured in Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se.
Mumbai Mirror reports that the stars will be involved in the song a little more than just having a guest appearance. The stars have come up with their multiple talents. While Rekha has rapped for this Vishal Mishra song, Sonakshi has done playback for a part. Also, Shatrughan, Salman and Dharmendra will be seen recreating popular dialogues from their hit films.
Music director Vishal said that he was excited to create and record the medley. He also said that the song was composed in 24 hours and he expects that the audience would enjoy this pack of surprises from the makers.
The same report states that it a song medley featuring the film’s title track as well as yesteryear hits like 'Rafta Rafta' from Kahani Kismat Ki and 'O Mere Sona Re' from Teesri Manzil. Besides long hours of rehearsals with choreographer Remo D’souza, Rekha has rapped a few lines that were recorded at a Mumbai studio which will be incorporated into the special track.
Sonakshi Sinha, who will be singing 'O Mere Sona Re' is currently busy shooting for her other projects. Her recording part is yet to be done. She will also be seen shaking a leg with father Shatrughan. Her dance portions are being shot in small sections. Salman, Shatrughan and Dharmendra will soon record their parts soon.
