Mandana Karimi ties knot with businessman Gaurav Gupta; Bani J, Gauhar Khan attend gala affair

Ex Bigg Boss contestant and Iranian beauty Mandana Karimi tied the knot with her longtime beau, businessman Gaurav Gupta this weekend in a gala affair attended by former contestants of Bigg Boss and her fellow members of the Hindi film fraternity.

India Today  reports that Karimi got married to Gupta back in January in a hush-hush court marriage in the presence of close friends and family members. She had tweeted out the development the next morning, ““Had a surreal court marriage today in the presence of family. Waiting to celebrate it with our friends for it to turn real-Mandana ‘gupta’.”

The Financial Express reports that she confirmed the wedding when she appeared as a guest on Bigg Boss 10. While she also stated that she would soon host a grand wedding celebration, she waited till the end of the show to do so in order to accommodate the presence of her good friend Bani J in the celebration. Also, in the meantime, her other good friend and Bigg Boss 9 winner Gauhar Khan also wrapped up the shooting of her film, Srijit Mukherji’s period drama Begum Jaan.

The Indian Express reports that her two good friends performed on the song ‘Deewani Mastani’, from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2015 period romantic drama Bajirao Mastani, at the grand sangeet ceremony. Among other celebrities who graced the occasion were Hindi film actor Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput.

Also, Tusshar Kapoor and Aftab Shivdasani attended the wedding of their Kya Kool Hai Hum 3 co-star. The third installment of the comedy franchise was Karimi’s Hindi film debut.

She was previously married to model Lalit Tehlan before the couple got divorced. After the split, she dated Parth Pawar, the son of politician Ajit Pawar. However, even their relationship did not work out, prompting Karimi to start dating Gupta with whom she tied the knot in January.
