The Golmaal Again team has made its intentions loud and clear. Golmaal 5 might be in store, because ‘Hum Nahi Sudhrenge.’

Golmaal Again's 'Hum Nahi Sudhrenge' track tells you why there will be a Golmaal Once Again

The star cast of Rohit Shetty’s comedy ensemble Golmaal Again make their intentions loud and clear in the latest song ‘Hum Nahi Sudhrenge’ that they will continue to offer interminable doses of mind-numbing comedy in the years to come. All the principle cast members — Ajay Devgn, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and Kunal Kemmu — along with the new additions, Tabu and Parineeti Chopra, shake a leg together in the rather gaudily done song. The over exposed colours of this song look so synthetic, it’s almost as if the art director drilled crayons into the canvas for hours. But then, as they say, ‘Hum Nahi Sudhrenge’ (We shall not improve). All the cast members, besides an occasionally pleasant Kemmu, either sport a sunglasses-clad blank look or emote on behalf of all the cast members. A special mention to Devgn and Warsi, who give cardboard a run for its money. But then, let us repeat in chorus, ‘Hum Nahi Sudhrenge.’ [caption id=“attachment_4115599” align=“alignnone” width=“825”] ![Arshad Warsi, Tabu, Ajay Devgn, Parineeti Chopra and in a still from Golmaal Again. YouTube[/caption] Armaan Malik and Amaal Malik pull off a good job with the vocals and composition but the chorus, besides its daring promises, is flat out weak. Just like the previous song from the film, ‘ Maine Tujhko Dekha ’, the chorus is the weakest link of the entire track. But hey, ‘Hum Nahi Sudhrenge’. Finally, after making the audience laugh out loud in the trailer with the one funny line she can boast of, Tabu gives us a glimpse of exactly why she should not be in this mindless entertainer. She looks like she is working out, as she tries to match up to the energy of others, while performing the hook step of the song. That is a rather nostalgic reminder to her ‘Ruk Ruk Ruk’ days. Just when we thought she has risen above her two left-feet syndrome, Tabu shouts out loud, ‘Hum Nahi Sudhrenge’. But these are just signs, of yet another installment (or should I say carbon copy) of the Golmaal franchise. Golmaal Once Again is in store for you guys, because ye nahi sudhrenge. Golmaal Again also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra and Prakash Raj. It is co-produced by Rohit Shetty Productions and Sangeeta Ahir’s Mangl Murti Films. It is slated to release this Diwali on 20 October.
