Rohit Shetty is all set to make your Diwali more explosive with his comedy ensemble Golmaal Again. The trailer has been packaged as an out and out Diwali entertainer.

It starts off on a nostalgic note with the signature Golmaal music (though with a haunting touch to it) and comes full circle with Ajay Devgn's character prompting Tusshar Kapoor's verbally challenged character to utter a few words.

What lies in between is all slapstick and little substance, well in tune with what the audience expects of Golmaal Again - a mindless commercial entertainer.

But this part does bring some new elements to the table, like the straight-faced Tabu as a exorcism specialist, Parineeti Chopra as the leading lady, Neil Nitin Mukesh in a blink-and-miss appearance and Prakash Raj as another interesting addition to the cast.

Given the ensemble, it will be extremely challenging for Shetty to give each actor a meaty part. Golmaal Again will also see Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Khemu, Johnny Lever and Sanjay Mishra reprise their roles from the previous parts.

What cannot be missed in the trailer, however, is its synthetic sets. While the signature car stunts are very much there, the sets are plastic, to say the least. This Diwali, Golmaal Again will serve as that sootli bomb that you have a great adrenaline rush while bursting but is ultimately going to damage your own lungs. In the case of Golmaal Again, it is your logical faculties that are going to bear the brunt. And if caution is compromised with, it might scar you for life as well.

Golmaal Again is the fourth installment of Rohit Shetty's hit comedy franchise Golmaal. It is co-produced by Rohit Shetty Productions and Sangeeta Ahir's Mangl Murti Films. It is slated to release this Diwali on 20 October, along with Advait Chandan's coming-of-age musical Secret Superstar.\
