Angad Bedi dons a red turban in his first look from Diljit Dosanjh's Sandeep Singh biopic
Angad Bedi's first look from the Diljit Dosanjh-starrer, Sandeep Singh biopic, has recently been revealed. The actor is spotted donning the look of a dashing Sikh sportsman in a red turban and his fans are naturally going gaga over it.
Bedi, who recently wrapped up the shooting of Tiger Zinda Hai with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in Abu Dhabi, plays the role of Singh’s elder brother, Bikramjeet Singh, in the film. After an impressive performance in Shoojit Sircar's Pink, Bedi will again be teaming up with his former co-star Tapsee Pannu along with Diljit in this Shaad Ali directorial. The actor was last seen opposite Richa Chadha in the Amazon Prime Video India show named Inside Edge.
It has also been reported that Bedi will be meeting Bikramjeet to understand the character. Sources also reported while the first schedule of the film will begin in Mumbai, the other locations are yet to be finalised.
Pune Mirror quoted a source as saying, "An important part of the story revolves around the two brothers, with Bikramjeet, the older one making Sandeep realise what hockey really means to him. Bikramjeet even trained Sandeep in the early years. Angad will be meeting Bikramjeet to understand his character well, who will also train him while Sandeep will work with Diljit on his game. Angad is also expected to attend script reading sessions."
The biopic is co-produced by Chitrangda Singh and Sneha Rajani. The story reportedly revolves around the Haryana born hockey player and former captain of the Indian hockey team Sandeep, who was seriously injured in 2006 after being hit by an accidental gunshot in a train.
Angad will soon be seen on the big screen in Tiger Zinda Hai, which releases this Christmas on 22 December.
