Bollywood photographer Jagdish Mali found abandoned on Mumbai street

Photographer Jagdish Mali once enjoyed the reputation in the world of entertainment and glamour that many aspired for but was reportedly found on Monday roaming the streets in a Mumbai suburb dirty and with few clothes on his body. According to a Mumbai Mirror report, actress Mink Brar was distributing blankets among roadside dwellers when she spotted him covered with dirt, wearing a tattered t-shirt and wandering the streets. Courtesy: Jagdish Mali website[/caption] The photographer allegedly refused to return to his house and after trying, the actress said she called Salman Khan and sought his assistance, which was provided in the form of a vehicle with assistants to take him back home. A caretaker later said Mali had been taken to Lonavala. The photographer had reportedly fallen on hard times which had forced him to sell his studio and could also be suffering from alcohol addiction, the report stated. Among the famous celebrities Mali has photographed include Rekha, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Rani Mukherjee, Dimple Kapadia and many others. He had also worked on advertisement campaigns and fashion brochures for brands, his website stated. His daughter, Antara Mali, had featured in several movies directed or produced by Ram Gopal Verma. However, she reportedly refused to comment on the issue.
