Rohan Sippy's web series The Client, that had Bipasha Basu as the female lead, has been shelved for good reports, DNA. The web series, which was inspired by US TV series Scandal, did not seem to be a profitable project to the makers.

Sippy will be directing the remake of Raat Aur Din (1967) soon, but looks like his last directorial got shelved forever. It has been reported that each episode of The Client was costing the producers something close to Rs 70 lakhs, and the makers could not find any big profit possibilities out of them. To the makers, it seemed like a risky investment, say insiders.

Meanwhile, Sippy made it to the headlines when sources claimed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen in the remake of the Nargis starrer cult film Raat Aur Din. The film will be co-produced by Siddharth Anand and KriAarj Entertainment, and will go on the floors later this year. This director-actor pair had a box office hit a decade ago titled Kuch Na Kaho which also starred Abhishek Bachchan and brought a much needed success in his career graph.

On the other hand, Bipasha's Twitter and Instagram handles look quite happening with her posts from Amazon India fashion week.
