SS Rajamouli's war epic Baahubali 2: The Conclusion might be arguably the most awaited film of the year. It has been in the news ever since the release and tremendous success of its prequel two years ago, Baahubali: The Beginning.

However, there are a certain section of the audience who have not seen the first part yet. Since both the parts are connected and part of the same narrative, it is imperative to watch the first part in order to comprehend the sequel. Thus, the makers have decided to re-release the first part two weeks before the release of the sequel.

Telugu 360 reports that the Hindi and Telugu versions of Baahubali: The Beginning will re-release this Friday on 7 April. While this will certainly prove to be a blessing for those who missed out on watching the spectacle on the silver screen two years ago, it will also give those who have already watched it a chance to revisit the war epic. The binge-watching experience might prove to be the best promotional activity for Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

The Times of India quotes filmmaker and distributor of the Hindi version of Baahubali, Karan Johar, as saying, "When a movie continues to be topical for two years, you know people are loving every bit of it! Both, exhibitors and film lovers, have approached us to make Baahubali a binge-watching experience. Hence, we are re-releasing the first part on April 7th with a special offer that takes care of tickets for both parts. We're excited. April will witness the biggest movie event ever!"

The report by Telugu 360 states that the Telugu version of Baahubali: The Beginning will also re-release in limited screens across Telangana and Hyderabad since the only big movies releasing in the coming weeks are Mani Ratnam's Cheliya and Varuntej's Mister.

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia, Anushka Shetty and Sathyaraj who will reprise their roles from the prequel. It is produced by Arka Media Works and is slated to release on 28 April.
