Bigg Boss Tamil ex-contestant Oviya reportedly signs horror comedy Pallu Padama Paathuka

After reportedly declining all the film offers that have come to her in the recent past, former Bigg Boss Tamil contestant Oviya may have inked the deal.

Deccan Chronicle reports that she has been signed to play the lead role in YouTuber and actor Vijay Varadaraj’s next Tamil directorial titled Pallu Padama Paathuka. The same report states that it will reportedly be a horror comedy and will feature multiple adult comedy situations. It will be reportedly produced by Blue Ghost Pictures.

While there is no official word of confirmation on the same, the same report states that the official announcement will be made soon as the film reportedly goes on floor in the coming months.

It was earlier reported that popular filmmaker Sundar C had also approached Oviya to play the lead role in his next, Kalakalappu 2, the sequel to his 2012 super-hit Tamil film Kalakalappu. However, the actress reportedly turned down the offer, subsequently getting replaced by Nikki Galrani.

Galrani had confirmed the news to Deccan Chronicle , ““I’ve signed Kalakalappu 2 and we’re starting the shoot on 4 October. I will also be joining the team from the very first schedule. It is going to be a laughter-riot with Jiiva and Jai. I’m really looking forward to having a great time at the shooting spot.”
