Bigg Boss 10, Episode 50, 5th December 2016: Priyanka isolated; Manu exits; Om Swami returns

With Manu’s untimely exit from Colors TV’s Bigg Boss 10 following a family emergency, sadness and gloom engulfs the house. Feeling the pinch of Manu’s absence, Mona and Manveer have frequent breakdowns. Next day, the housemates wake up to the tunes of ‘Sar Jo Tera Chakraye’ and we notice the change. Mona, who has danced to the tunes without fail every morning, is in a sombre mood while the new captain of the house, Gaurav, is upbeat and is seen shaking a leg for the first time. Besides captaincy, is it also because his stiff competition Manu has left? (Well, it is heard that Manu is likely to come back in few days.) Mona adds that she always wanted to break their alliance and has finally managed to do it. In her defense, Priyanka says that Manu and Manveer were never Mona’s friends and she always had a misconception about it. “You were great friends with Manu? Are you kidding me? I was in the group before you joined them,” Priyanka shoots back. Kick-starting the nominations for the week, Bigg Boss asks the contestants to unanimously nominate one contestant out of the three wild card entrants — Jason, Sahil and Priyanka, on the basis of the entertainment factor from the viewer’s point of view. Most of the contestants consider Priyanka as the weakest wild card entrant. While some feel that Priyanka’s strategy after returning into the house is not working anymore, the others openly tell Priyanka that her behaviour pattern has been fluctuating. And after the housemates finally announce Priyanka as the weakest wild card entrant, she loses her cool and lashes out at the housemates. She tells them that their decision is very unfair and they are targeting the wrong person. Confronting Bani about their decision, Priyanka gets into a major fight with her. She accuses Bani of not supporting her during nominations. Agitated with Priyanka, Bani tells her that she will any day prefer Jason and Sahil over her and hence she did not nominate them. After Priyanka refuses to listen to Bani, they both get into a yelling match. Later in the day, Bigg Boss asks all the contestant to gather in the living area for the next leg of nominations. Priyanka, however, refuses to become a part of the process and instead tucks herself in bed. Manveer, Bani, Nitibha and Gaurav try to convince her to let go of her anger and complete the nominations process but she refuses to move even a bit. Priyanka even ends up disregarding Bigg Boss by not following his instructions and gets reprimanded for it. Bigg Boss calls her in the confession room and tells her to abide by the rules. Bigg Boss then calls Mona to the confession room and asks her to nominate two people for this week’s eliminations. Others also follow course and in the process, Bani J, Sahil Anand, Priyanka Jagga, Nitibha Kaul, Rohan Mehra, Lopamudra Raut and Manveer Gurjar get nominated for this week’s eliminations. The contestants are shocked that seven people got nominated this time. Discussing the changing dynamics inside the house, Gaurav tells Sahil, Jason and Bani that Mona might be a part of Manu and Manveer’s group but in Manu’s absence they can easily get Mona on their side. As Priyanka continues to sulk over nominations, she further gets into an argument with Rahul. She tells him that she is completely disappointed in him since he did not perform in the dome task but had the audacity to nominate her. Justifying his point, Rahul tells Priyanka that he gave a logical reason during the nominations and doesn’t need to repeat it . When Priyanka refuses to budge and continues to make personal comments about Rahul, Nitibha and Lopa warn her to stop doing so. As the day comes to a close, Om Swami surprises the contestants once again by making an entry in the Bigg Boss house, and this time he enters through the confession room. While Priyanka rejoices at Swami’s presence, Mona and Manveer express their disappointment. They say that they were expecting Manu to come back but Bigg Boss has let them down. Swami tells the contestants that he had some ‘legal’ work that needed to be taken care of. He further tells the contestants that people told him that they will stop watching the show if he leaves again (yeah, right!). Manveer keeps making fun of Swami, who doesn’t stop boasting about how popular he is in the outside world. And tomorrow expect some more fireworks as during a task there’s going to be a huge showdown between Priyanka and Lopa and also a heated argument between Manveer and Swami.
