Bigg Boss 10, Episode 47, 2nd December 2016: Gaurav is the new captain of the house

After Rohan Mehra lost his captaincy, there has been a lot of anxiety among the contestants and the challengers about the captaincy task which has got stretched and has been going on for quite some time now. With only four test tubes being emptied so far, the three strongest contenders, Gaurav, Manveer and Manu stand tall in the task in Bigg Boss house. With the final leg of the competition approaching, the contestants wake up to the energetic theme song of Appy Fizz.  Even before the last gong rings, Gaurav, Manveer, and Manu decide to empty Manu’s test tube, making Gaurav and Manveer the final contenders in the task as we said in our report yesterday.  Taking a break from the usual, Lopamudra and Nitibha decide to spend some time in the pool and pull a prank on Priyanka. In a playful manner, they push Priyanka in the pool but she accidentally stumbles and hurts herself.  This leads to a major drama inside the house as the ‘drama queen’ Priyanka begins to howl pointing at her bruise. When Om Swami watches his beti cry like a baby, he gets an opportunity to create his own antics and gets into a heated argument with Lopa and Nitibha where he reprimands them for playing an ugly prank on Priyanka. As the morning progresses, Lopa and Nitibha go on a guilt trip and repeatedly apologize to Priyanka for their prank. On noticing this, Swamji  adds fuel to the fire when Lopa loses her cool and hurls abuses at him and asks him to shut up. Swami quickly makes a mountain out of a mole-hill and claims that the housemates are again plotting against him. During the heated argument, Lopa throws a tissue roll at Swami while Rohan tries to control the situation. When Swami complains about the same to everybody, Lopa  tells Swami that if she really wanted to hit him, she would give him  a tight slap.Well, Lopa is  one contestant  who has always taken a stand for what is right or wrong inside the house. That has impressed not only the viewers, but also host Salman Khan, who has applauded Lopa quite a few times. But she has temper issues, too. Remember how she smashed a glass plate on the kitchen platform when she got into a major war of words with Rohan during his captaincy over a fortnight ago when he had sent Manu and Manveer to jail?  But, anyways, Swami sees this as a golden opportunity and starts complaining to Bigg Boss of physical violence against him. The evening gets interesting with Bigg Boss introducing the much awaited final captaincy task. Gaurav and Manveer are asked to paint a canvas, placed in the garden area, with two colours — blue and yellow assigned to them respectively. Lopa is asked to be the supervisor of the task. The contender covering the maximum canvas with his share of colour will be declared as the captain of the house. While the game starts on a healthy note, it takes an aggressive turn as Gaurav tries  to paint Manveer’s side and vice versa. Both have arguments during the task. Furthermore, Manveer tries to stop Gaurav, who appears peaceful, by holding his hand while he is at it. When he requests Lopa to interfere, she turns a deaf ear to Gaurav’s request and encourages Manveer instead. Manveer then takes the game to a whole new level as he again tries to stop Gaurav, but loses his balance and falls with his head hitting the floor. He starts bleeding and is given a first-aid, and all his staunch supporters – Manu, Priyanka, Mona, Nitibha, breakdown. Meanwhile, Gaurav continues painting and is heard telling his group of supporters – Bani and Rahul that Manveer was too aggressive and he fell on his own. However, as the supervisor of the task, Lopa is confused because on one hand, the task was stopped due to the accident, and on the other hand the canvas neither had more of blue nor more of yellow, but it had turned green. But Manveer tells Lopa to announce Gaurav as the winner and Lopa does the same. Guilt-ridden Gaurav later tells Manveer that he didn’t want to become the captain in these tragic circumstances and offers him the captaincy, but Manveer sportingly accepts his defeat. The day ends with one good news and one bad as Bigg Boss announces the week’s luxury budget for the contestants. While a considerable amount of points are deducted as a result of contestants not following the rules, they also earn few brownie points for Gaurav and Manveer’s incredible performance in the captaincy task of painting the canvas. The day comes to a close with Lopa plotting against Gaurav along with Manu as she declares that she wants to make Gaurav sit on the Khalnayak Khursi  this weekend. Both, Lopa and Manu feel that at least on humanitarian grounds Gaurav should have stopped the task when Manveer had a fall. Manu agrees but Mona feels that Lopa has her own axe to grind. And with the weekend approaching, there is whole lot of excitement and action with Mona’s boyfriend Vikrant Singh Rajpoot and Manu’s fiance Priya Saini making their way to the Weekend Special episode of BB10. They will be confronting their respective partners about the relationship Manu and Mona share with each other inside the house which is going to add on to all the spice and drama. There will be yet another special episode, with_Befikre_ actors – Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor entering the house, on Sunday.
