Bigg Boss 10, Episode 44, 29th November, 2016: Rohan barred from captaincy; Bani celebrates her birthday

With the entry of four challengers in the house, it’s yet another dramatic day in the Bigg Boss house. The contestants wake up to ‘Chahe Koi Mujhe Junglee Kahe’ and subsequently rush outside to find who won the ‘Dome’ task between Priyanka Jagga and Bani J.  They are asked to guess the winner.Priyanka initially refuses to tell Manveer, but as he walks away she cheekily reveals the result to him.Meanwhile, Bani is discussing how much fun it will be to see Priyanka and Mona Lisa fight. Manu Punjabi asks Om Swami about his opinion of Mona and he says that he loves everyone equally. Manu lashes out at him in front of Priyanka by saying that on one hand he calls Mona his daughter and on the other hand disrespects her. Priyanka tells tells Swami that he can never talk ill of any woman in the house. Swami, later, complains to Sahil Anand about his conversation with Manu.  Bani confides with Sahil about her conversation with Priyanka and her plans to target Manu and Mona. An insecure Manu tells Priyanka that Bani is trying to manipulate her. Adding fuel to the fire, Swami tells Priyanka that Manu wants to create misunderstandings between Bani and her. Bigg Boss announces the winners of the task (Gaurav, Sahil, Priyanka and Nitibha) and tells the losers – Bani and Jason to move to the challenger area. He asks captain Rohan to make sure that it happens quickly.  Gaurav tells Bani how upset he is with Bani shifting to the challengers’ room. Bigg Boss calls Rohan to the confession room and asks him to be firm with the contestants to make sure that the nominated contestants do not come out of the challengers’ room.  Rohan asks all the nominated contestants to get back into the challengers’ room. Later in the day, Manveer notices Swami hide something in his pillow. On checking his pillow, Manveer finds spoons and tells everybody that Swami had some ulterior motives. Justifying himself, Swami says that he kept the spoons to keep ‘Asoor shakti away’. Scared by his behaviour, Manu and Manveer check his bags and are shocked to find Lopa’s perfume, deodarants and other household items. Giving Swami a last warning,  Priyanka says that if he doesn’t stop this practice she will not to talk to him anymore. A furious Swami gets into a brawl with Manveer for checking his bag without his consent. With all the housemates calling him a robber, Swami breaks down and Manveer, Manu and Nitibha console him. In the evening, Swami tells Priyanka that Manu and Manveer are responsible for creating fights between all the housemates. Mona overhears their conversation and tells Swami to stop talking ill about others which later snowballs into a heated argument between Mona and Priyanka, who is insecure about Manu’s friendship with Mona. She picks a fight with Mona, who gives her back for which Manu applauds her later. Mona has heard Priyanka say that she (Mona) should be in her limits, and Mona asks her upfront in front of everybody what she means by that. Mona also informs Manu that Swami has been bitching about him and Manveer to Priyanka behind their back. Manu and Manveer question Priyanka that why has she been listening to Swami.  Bani and Jason watch the “fun” from the challenger’s room. Later, Priyanka tries to sort out the differences with Mona by getting over-friendly with her and Mona looks visibly uncomfortable. Seeing the housemates take their own sweet time to complete their work, Sahil and Bani discuss Rohan’s inabilities as a captain.  Sahil tells Bani that food is getting delayed and that the bathrooms were dirty, to which Bani says that no timetable is being followed and that it was captain’s responsibility.  Further, with Bigg Boss having to interfere every time, Bigg Boss decides to terminate Rohan’s captaincy and bars him from ever being a captain again. Bigg Boss also indicates while making this announcement that Rohan has not only been an irresponsible and careless captain, but has also had the cheek of asking for more powers instead of improving himself. An exasperated Rohan asks for everyone’s opinion about his captaincy and all the contestants try to pacify him. Priyanka, Manu and Manveer take advantage of this situation and plot about becoming the next captain of the Bigg Boss house. As the clock strikes midnight, the housemates bring in Bani’s birthday by cutting a protein cake sent for her by her best friend.  Bani feeds the cake only to Gaurav.  Earlier, Swami was seen running with the cake for Bani in the challengers’ section.  Except for Manu, Manveer, Lopa and Rohan, the rest join Bani and sing for her. Later, Lopa, Nitibha and Rohan are seen discussing Bani and her selfish behaviour as Bani has given instructions that nobody should touch the cake which is placed in the refrigerator.  On this Nitibha comments that happiness has to be shared.  And Lopa laughs away repeatimg Salman’s line  – ‘Do whatever you want to do…’ With Bigg Boss firing Rohan as a captain owing to his poor performance, there is an announcement of a task for captaincy which will probably create cracks in the friendship between Manu and Manveer.  Who could be responsible for this? Well, no points for guessing – Priyanka, whose re-entry inside the Bigg Boss house is causing a lot of sparks.  It appears that she has decided to play the game of divide and rule for her own gain and she is going all out to make sure that Manveer, Manu and Mona’s friendship goes down the drain.
