Bigg Boss 10, Episode 37, 22nd November 2016: Bani, Manveer, Gaurav, Nitibha, Rahul in danger

The ‘Viral Video Fever’ task has gripped the Bigg Boss contestants, and day two dawns with them dancing to the tunes of ‘Baby Doll’ gearing up for the next leg of the nominations task. Last night we saw the first attempts of the contestants trying to impress Sunny Leone and save themselves from nominations in the ‘Viral Video War’. Lopamudra Raut raised the temperature with her sizzling pole dance, and now the contestants are only taking it higher. Bigg Boss gives the contestants their next set up: that of a kitchen. For the task, Lopa asks Bani if she could borrow her sari, but Bani refuses to give it. Gaurav convinces her and Bani finally agrees. Lopa’s team goes first and they present an act based on a Gharwali-Baharwali concept adding a funny twist. Bani’s team puts up an entertaining act where Rahul dresses up as Om Swami. On noticing that Swami gave Rahul his clothes and accessories, Lopa gets upset with Swami and tells him that it will help their rival team in a big way. While talking to Bigg Boss, Sunny says that now the competition was getting stiff and that she was amused y Manu and Mona’s act and the catfight in the kitchen. However, she is not too impressed as she finds it very typical. Making the task more exciting, Bigg Boss gives the contestants a bathroom set up, lit up with candles and a bath tub. Lopa’s team does a sting operation on Swami Om, which Sunny finds sensational. Bani’s team, on the other hand, presents an act where Rahul is a film director and Bani and Gaurav are the actors. To tell the story, Bani and Gaurav get into an intimate scene and smooch, which the judge classifies as funny. But we wonder what happened to Bigg Boss’ lecturing the task captains, Bani and Lopamudra that it’s a family show and they can’t be making such sensational videos? Anyway, it’s time for the final set-up where the contestants need to create a video with cut outs of the opposite team. A coin toss determines that Lopa’s team will go second. While Bani’s team puts up a dramatic and a serious act, Lopa’s team makes it funny and sarcastic. After this controversial nominations task, it’s time for Sunny to enter the Bigg Boss house and meet the contestants. She names Lopa’s team as the winner, while Team Bani fails to impress Sunny, putting all the teammates in the nominations’ list this week. This is the first time in the show that an entire team has been nominated. Manveer Gurjar, Gaurav Chopra, Rahul Dev, Nitibha Kaul and Bani are nominated to be evicted this week. Further, Sunny will give yet another task to the contestants in which she also participates actively. She tells them to recreate Basanti’s iconic ‘Jab tak hai jaan mein naachungi’ scene from Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra’s cult film Sholay. While Sunny plays Basanti, Manu plays Veeru, Manveer is Jai, Swami plays Gabbar and Gaurav is Thakur. After a fun filled session with the contestants, Sunny departs but before that she tells the contestants, “I know it’s very difficult inside the house, but whenever you get the time you should have fun, laugh, cry, fight… When you leave from here it’s over! And remember every single day 25-30 million people are watching you and I wish whatever you set to achieve by participating in Bigg Boss, you get that.” As soon as the door closes, the female contestants give Swami a piece of their mind for his behaviour in Sunny’s presence. Swami admits his fault. As expected, the contestants discuss nominations and Nitibha fears that most probably she will be eliminated while Manveer says that someone will have to go as there could be a wild card entry. Manveer appears to be a strong contender and so are celebrities like Bani and Gaurav. Rahul, too, is popular and has pulled up his socks to entertain the audience after Salman Khan reprimanded him for being too lazy and boring in the house. In fact, Rahul performed extremely well in the Viral Video tasks which was even observed by Sunny. So it would be interesting to know which contestant will be shown the door this weekend. And in the coming days, the garden area will be converted into a gold mine. Manu and Lopa will be given a secret task for captaincy which could spoil relations and create misunderstandings between Lopa and the present captain, Rohan.
