Bigg Boss Marathi was much more dignified than Bigg Boss 12, says evicted contestant Megha Dhade

Along with Jasleen Matharu, the winner of Bigg Boss (Marathi) and one of the wild card entries of the season, Megha Dhade was also eliminated this week. After the nominations were called off last week, double evictions took place in the ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode. Megha was nominated by Bigg Boss for misbehaving with her co-contestant Deepak Thakur during the ‘Breaking News’ task when he provoked her with certain inappropriate words. Infuriated, Megha flung her slippers on the ground which bounced and hit Deepak. “I do regret that incident but that is not my basic nature. That was my spontaneous reaction. If a young guy is using such filthy language for a woman to make news for the task and saying all this on the mic, it is very wrong. I feel it was unfair to nominate me after that ugly fight,” said Megha, who stayed in the house for about seven weeks. [caption id=“attachment_4796991” align=“alignnone” width=“1200”] ![](https://images.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/megha-dhade-1200.jpg) A file image of Megha Dhade.[/caption] Megha walked into the house with a winning attitude and also proved to be a tough contender. Initially her competition was with Dipika Kakkar as Megha took over the kitchen from her but soon they became good friends. Megha had always shown dedication in performing the tasks with all her grit. Her fierce attitude would be mocked at by few contestants but that did not demean her spirit. “I don’t believe that people didn’t vote for me. I don’t know what happened, I can’t comment on this. But I should have ideally reached the finale. If I compare myself with other contestants like Romil, Surbhi, Somi, Deepak and Rohit, I could have easily given them a tough time when it came to voting. I just wonder who votes for these people who behave so badly. But I am sure I must have got more votes than Deepak who was also nominated. I was strong enough to survive till the end. Probably people want to see how low Deepak and Rohit can further go. They don’t want to see people who are sorted,” said Megha. When asked if she was frustrated since she couldn’t make a place for herself in the house — as the show host Salman Khan also felt — she denied the fact. “No, it isn’t true. I didn’t want to find place in any group, I had to find place in the audiences’ heart. I trust myself and did not need any support, only those who are weak need support to save themselves. But when you are doing a task in a group against a team, then you need a team. The commoners would team up and play whereas we would play individually and I tried to explain this to Sreesanth and Dipika,” she said. What are the biggest differences she found between Bigg Boss 12 and Bigg Boss Marathi? “There is a huge difference between Marathi and Hindi Bigg Boss. The Marathi one was more organic and people were very dignified. Their behaviour was very good. There were celebrities from the Marathi industry, people knew each other and their struggle stories and had a lot of respect for each other’s position and profession. The game in Big Boss Marathi was played in a much more dignified manner than Bigg Boss 12. Fights during tasks would get over within tasks, nobody carried it forward. But here, in Hindi Bigg Boss, I don’t know why contestants think that pulling each other down will help them become superior. They are also very calculative, with every move they would think how it will look on television and how will it look on the camera even if it was making relations with someone. I found people losing their originality. Even after staying there for so many days, I couldn’t figure out the real nature of contestants.” said Megha. Megha was close to Dipika and Sreesanth and she also sees them in the top three along with Karanvir. “For me top three contestants are Sreesanth, Dipika and Karanvir. It is not about celebrity or commoner winning, it is about the real person winning." Lastly, talking about Sreesanth and Dipika’s brother-sister bond, Megha says it is very real and genuine. “I have seen it from very close quarters. They are so possessive about each other as brother-sister. They value their relationship more than the game, whereas the commoners are desperate to win the game and that desperation shows,” she concluded.
