Bigg Boss 9 couple Kishwer Merchantt and Suyyash Rai are all set to tie the knot on 16 December after six years of dating. Suyyash took to Twitter and announced the date of their wedding quite creatively.
Moments before doing so, he had retweeted his sister Shruti Rai’s announcement of the wedding, thus confirming the news.

The two actors did a wedding photo shoot in which they posed in colour-coded outfits to announce their wedding date in style. A few days ago, Merchantt had uploaded a collage of pictures on her Instagram account from her bachelorette celebration with her cousins expressing her excitement about the big day. Image Courtesy: Twitter.[/caption] India Today reports that all the pre-wedding ceremonies like mehendi and sangeet will be held a day prior to the wedding on 15 December. The Times of India also reports that while majority of the two-day festivities will take place in Mumbai, a few of them will be held in Suyyash’s hometown Chandigarh. The wedding is going to be that big fat Punjabi gala. Recently, television actor Divyanaka Tripathi’s wedding also created quite a stir on social media. Suyyash and Merchantt met each other for the first time on the sets of Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural television series Pyaar Ki Ye Ek Kahaani in 2010. The two have been in a relationship since then and they also appeared together in the ninth installment of the celebrity reality show Bigg Boss where their fans got a glimpse of their blossoming relationship.
