Actress Ankita Lokhande who is also among the contestants in Bigg Boss 17 has of late started opening up about the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput. The two actors who shared the screen on the hit show Pavitra Rishta dated for around 7 years before calling off their relationship. That being said, in one of the recent episodes of Bigg Boss 17, Ankita spoke about the late actor, sharing why she did not attend his funeral, despite Vicky Jain encouraging her to. A clip is going viral on social media that shows the actress reciting a few lines from the song ‘Kaun Tujhe Yun Pyaar Karega’ from Sushant’s film MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. As Munawar shared that he attended a special screening of MS Dhoni: The Untold Story at your Yash Raj Studios, adding that he met Sushant for the first time and the last time, Ankita joined in and said, “He was really a nice person. I feel very strange on using the word “was” for him. Now, it’s still okay but it was very weird earlier. He was also a friend of Vicky so it was the worst feeling.”
Further, Munawar asked if the actress knew about what went wrong with Sushant before his shocking demise. Ankita while replying with a yes refrained from revealing the reason and said, “I couldn’t go to his funeral. I didn’t have the courage. I thought I wouldn’t be able to see that. Vicky asked me to go but I couldn’t muster the courage.” The actress later also opened up on how Sushant was the first close person in her life whom she lost.
