During a wedding scene between Kushal Tandon and Aneri Vajani’s characters on the sets of TV show Beyhadh, the actress’ wedding ensemble caught fire. Before the situation could worsen, Kushal took swift action. “Kushal is very proactive and alert. When he saw that Aneri’s pallu (gathbandhan) had caught fire, he swiftly tore away the piece before it could cause damage," said an unverified source, according to The Indian Express. Aneri was visibly shaken after the incident, and deservedly so. However, the team reportedly took a break so that the actor could calm her nerves and then the shoot continued as planned. Tandon, in an effort to lighten up the environment, apparently joked “I had nothing to do with starting this fire,” according to a Mumbai Mirror report. The actor took to Instagram to share a photograph of his burnt hand after the incident. In February this year, Tandon had saved one of his Beyhadh co-stars — Jennifer Winget — from another fire that took place on the sets during the shoot of another wedding sequence, in circumstances that were similar to this incident.
