Veteran Director Ridley Scott was awarded a Fellowship at the British Academy Film Awards, organised by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) on 19 February. Image from Twitter/@rsafilms[/caption] The director behind films Blade Runner 2049, All the Money in the World, Hannibal and Black Hawk Down was awarded the highest honours in the British movie industry for his contribution to the entertainment industry in a four-decade-long career, reports Guardian.com. While accepting the accolade, Scott praised his teachers for starting him on his journey. He said: “Teaching is the most important of professions. Sort that out and social problems will get sorted out”. Scott has worked on over 25 feature films and has garnered five BAFTA nominations and three Oscar nominations.
