Baaghi 3: Shraddha Kapoor confirmed to star opposite Tiger Shroff in upcoming action-adventure film

Shraddha Kapoor will return to star in the third installment of the blockbuster Baaghi franchise along with Tiger Shroff. The announcement comes on the heels of the roaring success of Stree.

Last year’s Baaghi 2 went on to become one of the highest grossing films of the year. Baaghi 3 was announced with Tiger Shroff just before the release of the second installment. Soon after the release, reports of Baaghi 2 actress Disha Patani joining the cast of the third installment were rife. Sara Ali Khan was also rumoured to be in the race for the role. With the makers’ confirmation, Shraddha marks her return to the action-adventure franchise. She was praised for her action and stunts in Baaghi and the stakes can be expected to go higher in Baaghi 3. Shraddha had undergone rigorous martial arts training for her role in the first Baaghi film. Apart from Baaghi 3, the actress will be seen in Saaho, opposite Prabhas, as well as in Chhichhore with Sushant Singh Rajput. She will also be seen alongside Varun Dhawan in Street Dancer 3D. Baaghi 3 will be directed by Ahmed Khan while Sajid Nadiadwala will serve as producer and writer. The film is expected to release in March 2020.
