In a shocking incident, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan injured after an intruder attacked him with a knife at his residence in Mumbai during a robbery attempt. While the star is out of danger and undergoing treatment at Lilavati Hospital, actress-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt tweeted on X questioning the safety of people living in Bandra tagging Mumbai Police and politicians and CM Ashish Shelar, Eknath Shinde, Ajit Pawar and Devendra Fadnavis.
But now, as per reports, the intruders were already in the house as police found nobody entering the building on CCTV footage.
Ibrahim Ali Khan and Sara Ali Khan reached hospital to see their father.
“An unknown person entered actor Saif Ali Khan ’s residence and argued with his maid, late last night. When the actor tried to intervene and pacify the man, he attacked Saif Ali Khan and injured him. Police are investigating the matter,” said Mumbai Police.
As per initial information, an unidentified person entered Khan’s house and both of them had a rescue. Some family members of the actor were present in the house at the time of the incident, an official said.
Khan was injured in knife attack by the intruder. He was taken to the Lilavati Hospital in Bandra and was reported to be out of danger, the official said.
“We are investigating the matter. The Mumbai crime branch is conducting a parallel investigation into the incident,” the police officer said.
