California: Sheldon and Amy are taking their relationship to a new frontier on ‘The Big Bang Theory" next month. In a statement, executive producer Steve Molaro said that after five years of dating, the time was right for Sheldon and Amy to consummate their relationship. The sitcom’s producers are eager for viewers to see the couple’s journey in subsequent episodes, he said.
