As Aamir Khan's 'Sitaare Zameen Par' first song comes out, here's decoding what the spiritual sequel to 'Taare Zameen Par' is all about

Just like the 2007 Taare Zameen Par, Aamir Khan’s new film Sitaare Zameen Par is in the same vein with contrasting treatment. That was an emotional roller-coaster, this promises to be a fun ride. This is the remake of the Spanish film Campeones, the classic underdog story of people with different disabilities.

And Khan, just like how he did in the 2007 weepie he directed too, is a teacher, a coach, but with comical tones and dripping with narcissism. The first song of the film is out now.

The actor plays a teacher who has been ordered to train a bunch of differently abled people after being accused of and convicted of drink and driving.

Featuring Aamir Khan as Coach Gulshan, training his basketball team, Good For Nothing is a fun watch that promises a plethora of entertainment. While Coach Gulshan is seen infusing boundless energy into the training sessions, the team is shown having fun while learning.

The song curiously titled Good For Nothing captures the spirit of love, laughter, a touch of aggression, hard work, and happiness, delivering an overall delightful experience. It sets the tone for an enjoyable family entertainer and further builds anticipation for the film’s release.

Good For Nothing features the amusing and lively vocals of Shankar Mahadevan and Amitabh Bhattacharya, with Neil Mukherjee on guitar and Sheldon D’Silva on bass.

Aamir Khan Productions presents 10 stars: Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar. Directed by R. S. Prasanna, now returns with the biggest collaboration with Aamir Khan Productions’ Sitaare Zameen Par.
