AR Rahman's Chennai concert slammed over mismanagement, molestation & stampede incidents: 'Respect Humanity...It was worst'

The musical concert of the Oscar-winning maestro in Chennai, titled Marakkuma Nenjam, has turned out to be a nightmare for fans. Yesterday (Sunday), several fans in thousands made their way to witness the concert, which was held on the outskirts of the city. While music lovers were excited to see their favourite musician perform on the stage, many of them took to X (previously known as Twitter) and revealed that the concert was overbooked and they were not allowed to enter the show despite having a valid ticket.

Many fans shared the videos from the concert and slammed the organisers for their poor management.

ACTC Events, who organised the event, apologised for mismanagement and tweeted, “Grateful to Chennai and the legendary @arrahman Sir! The incredible response, the overwhelming crowd made our show a massive success. Those who couldn’t attend on overcrowding, Our sincere apologies. We take full responsibility and accountable. We are with you. #MarakkumaNenjam (sic).”
