Anushka Sharma pens beautiful note for husband Virat Kohli on his 50th ODI century: 'You are truly God's child'

Virat Kohli became the first batsman in the history of cricket to hit 50 ODI centuries. The cricketer broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record in front of his idol and that too in his home ground, Wankhede Stadium. And Kohli’s wife and actress Anushka Sharma couldn’t be more happier as she wrote a beautiful note for her husband after he achieved this milestone. Taking to Instagram stories, she shared a pic of Kohli with a caption, “God is the best scriptwriter! Utterly grateful to him for blessing me with your love, and to watch you grow from strength to strength and achieve all that you have and will, being honest to yourself and to the sport always. You are truly God’s child.” The actress also inserted a few heart emojis in the note."

Earlier this month, she shared a sweet note for Virat Kohli on the occasion of his birthday as she wrote,  “He is literally EXCEPTIONAL in every role in his life! But somehow continues to add more feathers to his glorious hat. I love YOUUU through this life and beyond and endlessly so, in every shape, form, through it all, whatever it may be so @virat.kohli.”

On the work front, Anushka Sharma will be next seen in Chakda Xpress, which is based on the life of cricketer Jhulan Goswami. During the Netflix event last year, Anushka Sharma spoke about the film and said, “Hi, I am  Anushka Sharma , currently training at a cricket ground in Leeds in the United Kingdom for a very special film, called ‘Chakda Xpress‘. I am playing a role inspired by the life and times of the legendary pacer and former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami.

“I was absolutely blown away by the script, it was an eye-opener for me into the world of women’s cricket as I am sure it will be for you all as well,” the 35-year-old actor said.
