Anurag Kashyap to launch Paresh Rawal's son Aditya, Arjun Reddy actress Shalini Pandey in Bamfaad
Anurag Kashyap's Bamfaad has reportedly been shot in Kanpur towards the end of 2018 and is now in the post-production stage.

Paresh Rawal and Swaroop Sampat's son Aditya will reportedly make his silver screen debut in a feature that will be presented by Anurag Kashyap. The film, titled Bamfaad, will be helmed by debutant director Ranjan Chandel. Arjun Reddy leading lady Shalini Pandey has been roped in for her Bollywood launch opposite Aditya.
Bamfaad has reportedly been shot in Kanpur towards the end of 2018 and is now in the post-production stage.

Confirming the news, Anurag stated that Ranjan had been associated with him for quite some time. Producer Ajay Rai also worked with Kashyap on Gulaal and Dev D. "I am fully involved with the project with the producers Ajay, Pradeep Kumar and Alan McAlex," Mumbai Mirror quoted Kashyap as saying.
Talking about his choice of actors for the feature, Kashyap stated that the lead pair were perfect for the role. The filmmaker said the cast were made to undergo a month-long workshop before the actual shoot for Bamfaad began.
Kashyap even explained the title of the film. The film is essentially a love story based out of Allahabad. The term 'bamfaad' is a North Indian slang for an explosion, which according to Anurag, was the perfect terminology to allude to his lead pair.
Bamfaad will release within the next few months, Anurag confirmed. However, no official date has been zeroed in on yet.
