Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Vijay Varma all caught up recently at the screening of actor Manoj Bajpayee’s film Jugnuma. And they all touched his feet, leaving him amused. The video even went viral on social media.
In an interview with News18, the filmmaker opened up on his reason for doing so and revealed, “Jaideep, Vijay, Viineet (Kumar Siingh), and I met each other suddenly after a long time. And we touched Manoj’s feet (laughs). He’s unstoppable.”
He added, “He just goes on and on with his films. Inspector Zende was released recently, and then Jugnuma came. Kaise kar leta hai yeh aadmi (how does this man do this)! He’s older but ten times fitter than me. He’s like another Anil Kapoor. That’s why hum unke pair padh gaye the (laughs)! He’s a legend.”

It is humiliating for him who has been trained as an actor and has been acting for so many years.”
He added, “It is humiliating for me, who has been giving everything to this craft, and suddenly jo hai, agle din aap padhte ho ‘best actor’. Suddenly ek #BestActor aa jaata hai, phir chaar mahine baad another #BestActor aata hai #NationalCrush. You know, the whole culture has changed.”
