'Another movie with cheap humour': 'Great Grand Masti' poster is out and Twitter isn't happy

If you thought the reign of offensive and not-so-funny sex comedies was over (given that neither Kya Kool Hai Hum 3 or Mastizaade did well at the box office), you couldn’t be more wrong.

In 2003, the first Masti released with Viveik Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani and Riteish Deshmukh, who played three married men who seek an extra marital affair to spice up their lives. It doesn’t matter who played their wives because they were reduced to horrible stereotypes of nagging, needy women.

Nearly 10 years later, came the sequel, Grand Masti, which was one of the first ‘A’ rated adult comedy to cross 100 crores (also paving the way for subsequent adult comedies, who thought making regressive, bordering on gross films would make them rich and famous).

And now a third film in the series is back. Much to your and my horror. Here what the director, Indra Kumar has to say,"Great Grand Masti has the subtleness of Masti along with the wildness of Grand Masti its going to be more than paisa vasool."

Riteish Deshmukh also tweeted the poster for the film (we could swear if you look closely you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between this poster and any other Indian sex comedy):

While we’d like to know how the censor board reacts to Great Grand Masti, given their highly sensitive reaction to most films, we can merely speculate till the trailer comes out on Thursday evening.
