Animal Hyderabad event: Mahesh Babu calls Ranbir Kapoor 'India's best actor' - watch video

Ranbir Kapoor and Animal’s entire cast and crew are going all out to promote their biggie across the country. After Chennai, the Animal team attended their film promotional event at Hyderabad which Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli also graced as special guests. In the event, Mahesh Babu called himself Ranbir Kapoor’s big fan and said, “I have told him before when I met him but I don’t think he took that seriously. I am a huge Ranbir Kapoor fan and believe he is the best actor in India.” These words of the Maharshi star made RK emotional.

Later, Ranbir also showered words of praise on the Tollywood superstar and said, “You were the first superstar Mahesh Babu I ever met. I remember messaging him after watching Okkadu and he replied, and I can’t thank you enough for supporting sir.” The RRR director also called RK his favourite actor and said, “Without hesitation, I’ll tell you, my favorite actor is Ranbir Kapoor.” During the Chennai event, Ranbir revealed why film’s title is _Animal_ and said, “I think the reason why Sandeep Reddy Vanga called this film Animal is because animal behaves out of instinct. They don’t behave out of thought. So this character that I’m playing, he behaves out of instinct to protect his family. He is not thinking he is behaving out of instinct, he is impulsive, and I think that’s where the title Animal came and once you see the film you’ll realize that this film suits this title.” Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. It is set to hit the screens on 1st December.
