Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol starrer Animal continued its unstoppable run at the box office. After shattering several records in its opening weekend, the massy drama registered the biggest Monday collections ever for a Bollywood film with Rs 40.06 crore (Hindi version) and Rs 4.41 crore (south dubbed versions). The total Monday collections stand at Rs 44.47 crore Technically, Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 records the highest Monday with Rs 59.25 crore (in all versions) but it was film’s second day of release as it hit the screens on Sunday during the Diwali weekend. Other top first Monday grossers include Baahubali 2 Hindi (Rs 40.25 crore), Gadar 2 (Rs 38.70 crore) Dangal (Rs 25.69 crore), KGF 2 (Rs 25.57 crore), Tiger Zinda Hai (Rs 36.54 crore), Jawan (Rs 30.50 crore) & Pathaan (Rs 36.50 crore).

Looking at the current scenario, Animal is expected to become the fourth Bollywood film to enter the Rs 500 crore club at the domestic box office after Pathaan, Jawan and Gadar 2. Talking about the movie, _Animal_ also features Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Tripti Dimri, Sonali Batra, Suresh Oberoi, Prem Chopra, Charu Shankar, Shakti Kapoor, Saurabh Sachdeva, Upendra Limaye, Babloo Prithiveeraj, Siddhant Karnick, Vivek Sharma and others in prominent roles. It is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga of Kabir Singh and Arjun Reddy fame. The music of Animal is composed by JAM8, Vishal Mishra, Jaani, Manan Bhardwaj, Shreyas Puranik, Ashim Kemson and Harshwardhan Rameshwar while the lyrics are penned by Manoj Muntashir, Raj Shekhar, Siddharth-Garima, Jaani, Manan Bhardwaj, Ashim Kemson and Bhupinder Babbal. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Murad Khetani and Pranay Reddy Vanga under the banners of T-Series Films, Bhadrakali Pictures and Cine1 Studios. The cinematography of the film is done by Amit Roy.
