Mourning that Eid weekend got over too soon and you could not spend enough time with your close family and friends? Well, you can always call up our loved ones for a binge-watching session. This week OTT platforms are once again set to enthral viewers with some new and exciting content. Here’s what to watch at home, and yes, in cinemas too:
Bad Cop (Disney Plus Hotstar)- June 21
Bad Cop isn’t just about a pair of twins. The tone of the show has a certain sense of duality too. What begins as a show about crime on steroids slowly morphs into a drama about revenge and redemption. The hysteria begins to fade and uprightness takes over. It stars Gulshan Devaiah and Anurag Kashyap.
The iconic show Kota Factory has entered its season three and will stream on Netflix from June 20. It stars Jitendra Kumar, Mayur More, Ranjan Raj, Alam Khan, Ahsaas Channa, Revathi Pillai and Urvi Singh. The new season sees the entry of Tillotama Shome.
Bigg Boss OTT 3 (JioCinema)- June 21
“No one can replace Salman Khan,” said Anil Kapoor as he steps into the shoes of the host. The actor was quoted saying, “Munawar, this is a very wrong question which has been put to me. No one can replace Salman Khan, and no one can replace Anil Kapoor as well. Salman is very happy, I spoke to him earlier about this. Let’s not create any controversy, that will happen in Bigg Boss’ house.”
Ishq Vishk Rebound (Cinemas)- June 21
The makers of Ishq Vishk Rebound starring Pashmina Roshan, Rohit Saraf, Jibraan Khan and Naila Grewal have finally unveiled the release date of their coming-of-age-romantic drama. The movie is set to hit the screens on 28th June. It is the spirit sequel of Ishq Vishk , which marked the Bollywood debut of Shahid Kapoor alongside Amrita Rao , Shenaz Treasury and Vishal Malhotra.
Aranmanai 4 (Disney Plus Hotstar)- June 21
In its review, Firstpost wrote- “Aranmanai 4 is the fourth film in the franchise that has been repeatedly panned by the critics for different reasons. Yet, the producers have managed to release another iteration, also directed by Sundar C. The film stars the director, along with Raashii Khanna and Tamannaah Bhatia in lead roles. Aranmanai 4 may be a horror film, but the target audience is clearly not adults.”
