Koffee With Karan season 5: Can we expect anything but antics from Ranbir, Ranveer?
It is safe to expect no scoop from Ranbir or Ranveer on Koffee With Karan.
Twitterati went abuzz with excitement when filmmaker Karan Johar posted a picture of himself, Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor from the sets of his show, Koffee With Karan, giving a glimpse of what is in store for us in an upcoming episode.

But will we get any scoop at all from that episode? Or will it be just antics and evading controversial questions? Going by the picture that Johar posted, we can see both the young stars winking at the camera while Johar is sporting his signature pout.
This might be a hint from the two actors of how they are not going to take the show seriously. In the last episode, Twinkle Khanna also dodged several questions in the Rapid Fire round. She even went on to the extent of dubbing Chimpu (Rajiv) Kapoor as the most eligible bachelor. Facepalm!
Ranbir’s Besharam personality and Singh’s Befikre ways are limited only to their antics as they avoid going on record about their personal lives. In the last season, Singh shared the couch with Arjun Kapoor and all they indulged in were buffoonery, or babagiri, as they call it.
Similarly, in his debut on the show in Season 3, Ranbir Kapoor engaged in horseplay from the get-go. Unlike in the previous episode with Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor, Johar could not extract anything controversial from the two actors, owing to their strategy to fool around rather than answering the tough questions heads on.
This strategy is a rather smart detour from uttering the done to death “no comments” or “I will not answer that”. These mundane and politically correct replies usually puts off the audience. The other strategy, say of Shah Rukh Khan, of dodging the tricky questions through wit, is not something that either Kapoor or Singh are known for.
Can we really expect any controversial statements on Deepika Padukone or on the rivalry between the two actors when they share the couch?
It is no secret that the two crazy actors have much in common. However, expect no 'spilling the beans' but a lot of antics and horseplay.

Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to share a glimpse of the song, and wrote, “nothing short of a celebration when Sooryavanshi, Singham and Simmba come together”.
One Mic Stand writers room on making stand-up sets for celebrities, and training them to be 'losers' on stage
"When you're doing stand-up, you have to believe that you're not the most important person in the room. That's what we have to explain to the celebrities. Some get it easily, but for some, it's a struggle," says Dhruv Deshpande from the writers room of One Mic Stand.
