Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda recently graced Navya Nanda’s What the Hell Navya podcast and made some unheard revelations. Right from his ‘The Archies’ debut to his anxiety and turning to religion, he spoke on all.
Nanda said, “I was a really anxious person, and I say was, because I went through a really bad phase of it. I used to feel a lot of anxiety. When you’re living in a world where there’s so much going on, you do one thing that grounds you. And I think our generation are very anxious people. Because we’re so used to getting things in an instant. We’ve lost patience and we’ve lost faith. We’ve lost faith that things will work out, or things will be okay, because we’re so used to things being certain now.”
The actor added, “When I started acting, doing my first film, I was like, ‘I don’t know what I’m going to do, if I’m going to do well, if people are going to like me, if they’ll think I’m bad’. There are so many things. I did my best, and I was like, ‘God, I leave it up to you’. I have to keep faith in something beyond me. Whoever you believe in, whether it’s God, or energy. If you just pass on that burden, it relieves you.”
Having already made his debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, Agastya Nanda, the grandson of Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan is now all set for his second film. Reportedly, Agastya will feature in Sriram Raghavan’s ‘Ekkis’, a biopic based on 1971 war hero Arun Khetarpal. If reports are to be believed, the actor is presently busy reading the scripts these days and is expected to begin shooting next month i.e., January 2024.
According to a Pinkvilla report, the actor as a part of his preparation has attended several acting workshops with Sriram and trained acting coaches to polish his body language and further step into the shoes of the war hero. While he is presently going through the scripts, it is also reported that Agastya might go through extensive workshops and rehearsals before beginning the filming schedule,
