Amitabh Bachchan is quite passionate about sports, and we can make this claim because of his frequent tweets on the Olympics, and even cricket (remember the Harsha Bhogle episode?).
On Wednesday and Thursday, he tweeted about Sakshi Malik and PV Sindhu winning medals with the same thoughts that we all had: pride, joy and a sense of patrotism.
However, he also took a dig at the controversial Shobha De tweet on Indian athelets coming back home with no medals, and an opportunity being wasted. Bachchan’s tweet was filled with puns:
T 2352 - #PVSindhu .. aap "khaali haath" nahein, medal leke wapas aa rahein hain .. aur hum aapke saath 'selfie' nikalne chahate hain !!

Shobha De has tweeted about the Olympics a couple of days ago and faced severe Twitter flak:
Goal of Team India at the Olympics: Rio jao. Selfies lo. Khaali haat wapas aao. What a waste of money and opportunity.

Bachchan followed his dig with these tweets:

Bachchan had earlier tweeted about Sakshi Malik as well:
